On Thursday, Jan. 10, faculty of CF were able to showcase their art at the annual Faculty Exhibition. The opening reception of this exhibit took place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Showcasing multimedia art and techniques, Charlie Cummings, adjunct instructor, Tyrus Clutter, assistant professor, Michele Wirt, associate professor, Zach Castedo, adjunct instructor and Joel Parker, adjunct instructor submitted multiple pieces each, all of which displayed their own style of art.

From Z’dar, a digitally-animated head of Robert Z’dar to nude paintings based off of Facebook photos, the gallery attracted over 110 people on its first night.

The public was also invited to visit the Webber Center for refreshments and food, while viewing a presentation on the various artists.

As with all exhibits held at the Webber Center Gallery, admission is free to the public. Normal gallery hours are from 11 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Faculty Exhibition will be open until Feb. 7, 2013.
