The Appleton Museum of Art is home to paintings, sculptures, pottery, and woodcarvings from around the world. Visitors can see a glimpse into the past when visiting the museum.
On Jan. 17, 2013, the Appleton held an informative celebration for Arbor Day. Arbor Day is a day where people are encouraged to plant and care for trees. The first Arbor Day was held on April 10, 1872, in which approximately one million trees were planted.
