Appleton Museum of Art celebrates Arbor Day with “Art For Arbor Day”

The Appleton Museum of Art is home to paintings, sculptures, pottery, and woodcarvings from around the world. Visitors can see a glimpse into the past when visiting the museum.

On Jan. 17, 2013, the Appleton held an informative celebration for Arbor Day. Arbor Day is a day where people are encouraged to plant and care for trees. The first Arbor Day was held on April 10, 1872, in which approximately one million trees were planted.
